MPG after installing K&N drop in air filter

Hey guys I just installed the K&N air filter and though id take it for a spin out on the highway to see if my mpg changed in this is what i came up with.

45 mph at 30.2 mpg, 60mph at 29.4 mpg, and 65mph at 29.1 mpg

I set cruise control at all of these speed for about 5-10min each then i reset the info for every speed. So these are the numbers the car came up with soo take it or leave it

Edited original message.

ok i went back out to get some food and though i would double check because like you said idrivera those number seemed right. Even though the numbers changed there is a small increase sorry about the mistake i dont know why they were so high the first time maybe it was the road i was driving on, mostly downhill or something idk?

I never thought that thing was accurate anyway. I go by the trip meter.

But thanks for sharing. The drop-in probably does increase mpg.

Depends if they actually tested it by doing the math?
