Wondering what the options are for front license plate install? I see some RAs with it in the middle yet the Evos at the dealer had them off to the side which I prefer.

Is there a bracket or are the 2 screws and rubber grommets in the glove compartment for the front plate??

I ate having to drill holes in the bumper but its the law in my state.

You can put it on the side, I do.

 

go to a mitsu dealer and order the evo X bracket.

that is what i used on my 08 gts.......it looked good.

i have not put the front plate on my RA yet.....

......i am going to wait till i get stopped for it.

 

I lucked out and Arkansas doesn't require a front plate. But when I ship it to germany next December gonna have to mount a license plate. Prolly to the side.

 

On blue, orange, and red models, the colour pretty much kills the pure aggressive look at the front, so you might as well put the plate front and centre -- that's what I did, and it looks fine. You have a choice to mount it centred on the black bar, or centred inside the chrome front moulding -- I went with centering it within the moulding, because that looks better overall, though the plate may block the lower air inflow very slightly.

Mounting on the side looks best on the silver, gray, and black models, because they lose a lot of their aggressiveness when the plate is front and centre. I agree with the folks who say get the Evo X bracket -- it apparently fits great on the Ralliart.

I live where it snows and where the roads are often a bit dirty, so I'm biased enough that I'll spare you my opinion of where to put the white model (definitely in a warmer, drier climate). I'd guess that the Evo X side-mounting bracket looks best on white too.
