Yes, you can flash to and from stock via the Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 cable and a laptop

so, one thing I'm curious about, if you flash and then flashback, will the dealer know that you flashed the ECU? I'm very interested but I have some serious questions about doing the flash I maybe going up north in about 2 or 3 weeks, so maybe I will pass by w/ my '09 Silver RA?

This has been discussed, they can tell it has been flashed, just not by whom. In other words you can just tell them another dealer flashed it and they couldn't prove you wrong. Your best best is to make an anonymous phone call to your dealer and see if they think that flashing the ECU voids the warranty. It varies dealer to dealer.

cool! Thanks metall1ca!

Can you tell me where this has been discussed since I'm looking up and down these boards and can't find your source / the thread. Thanks.

I specifically want to know if they (the dealer) can know the dates you flashed your ECU.

Don't know offhand, if I find it i can PM you with it. As far as i know they don't know dates of the ECU being flashed.

I know this was discussed in the AMS thread. From what I read they can tell when it was last flashed.

A bit "detuned" version of our old BaseFlash is now available for free as a BaseMap, more details here:

The basemap you have with boost pill upgrade it was tuned to have which air\fuel ratio, and is it really safe to use it on a ralliart that doesn't have a wideband or should i just stay stock until the air|fuel wideband is installed.

You'll be fine without a wideband with just the basemap. The basemap runs a little bit leaner than the stock ECU tune.
