I just received a letter about the recall, I'll bring mine in this Saturday. Should I be worried about my lowering springs and Exhaust? Has anyone fixed theirs with this setup? I hope they don't give me any problem with my mods

Also should I go to where I bought the car or I can go to any dealer? Thanks.

dealers will only ***** about your mods if you are complaining about something you want covered under warranty that was directly caused by your mods

I'm not sure, but I'd ask them to check when you take it in, just to be on the safe side. My hood latch release cable notice arrived a couple of days before the valve notice arrived.

probably depends on production date, some issues may be fixed @ selling dealer before sale (you would hope)

Then that tech didnt know. I received the letter as well and the recall is intended for the RA and Evo X only. Anyhow, I took my car in yesterday morning and the dealer took care of both recalls for me and while they were at it, they also did the oil change. Took about 2-3 hours but I had just left the car and left. It would've been quicker had I stayed there. They didn't give me a hard time about my drop or my BOV. I wouldnt sweat it.

yea i figured it was a dumb tech but how can i argue with him if i didnt receive a letter for the hood...they are the ones with the authority to do the work or not ... kinda sucks if i do need the latch done as well. i will be kinda pissed if i get a letter for that as well cuz i was already there , i hate dealers !!
