Getting AMS stage 1 reflash TODAY!
So I'd like to thank Dan and Chris from AMS for hooking me up with this set up early.
Where do I start. when u first start up the car everything seems normal until u give it a little gas. that's when u notice what sounds like a vacume tube from a bank. Not as loud and a lot nicer sounding. you can here the BOV, for a moment I thought It was after market cuz of the sound. as I started on my way home I could feel the pull. It has to be at least twice as strong as the stock feel. the car felt stong and stable the whole 45 mi home. The take offs from stop lights were unbeleveable. The response was a little quicker from the accelerator. first gear went by real quick u almost need to keep it in auto sport to shift at the best point. Second was good at 3k and up for a quick moment. 3rd-5th were power all the way from start to finish. now for some reason everyone want to know MPG! Don't understand y u bought a sports car so MPG should be at the bottom of the list of wories. But so I don't have to answer it later here u go 1.5 hr drive, 45 miles home, avg mph of 29 (yea alot of stop and go) and MPG....... 21.5 really good for the stop and go taffic. Plus all the fun I was having at the stop lights.
now to the mods. This is where it gets a little crazy. As I stated I was going for the stage I or so I thought. When I was talking with Dan he informed me that stage 2 was about ready for market in a few weeks and that I should wait. I was thrown off by this cuz I work in sales and with this economy u shouldn't send sale opportunites away. I told him with my situation that I wouldn't be able to stop back in for 3-6 months so I would have to settle with stage 1. he asked me to hold on so I did. He came back and told me that if I wanted I would be the proud father of a stage II flash and the first AMS SRI for the RAlliart (that's when I wet myself for the 3 rd time) so I said that I was game and that started the longest 3hrs of my life. for all this to happen they would have to replace my batt with a compact 1. Then the SRIa that they had weren't completely market ready but I was like a fat kid in a candy store it didn't matter what it was as long as it was mine. don't get me wrong I think it looks finished so I don't know what the he'll they were talking about. with our car it's crazy u can't do 1 thing with out the other. to get a Sri that works well u need to move the batt and reflash the ecu so that u don't jack up ur car. The reason is that it runs extremely lean and thats BAD. Some of u may hav noticed that this isn't a complete stage 2 and ur right it's only a 1.75 or so. this is cuz the upper and lower IC pipes and the Ic aren't complete yet. all in all I am still smiling from ear to ear with my upgrade. I say this is a must have for everyone that has an RA period. also they have a lot of great thing coming down the road. Again I want to thank Chris the AMS team and even more so to Dan. Thanks man, u helped me out alot. AMS! the only way to go RA!!! thanks

If there is anything else i can do for you just give me a call.
As long as the car is running that wont be a problem. If the system is rather large i would recommend putting a cap in the capacitor in as well.
That would be fine, even with a smaller battery. The alternator takes the brunt of the load anyway. With the high-beams on, the stereo blasting, and the A/C on full (in FL I see), you *might* see the lights dip on a long, hanging bass note, but a 1.5Farad cap is huge. It can handle the quick bass notes.
I dont use my ac much lol, I ride with the windows down, and my hids are lowbeams so were good there. I just hope I dont drain this battery but since you say the alternator takes the hit so there we go.
