has any one attempted ....successfully or un-successfully ?

.......to re-install any of the stock "heat shielding" pieces when installing any aftermarket exhaust parts.

 

yeah... i took the heat shield off twice when i did my downpipe twice. haha once when i did it in the first place, then when i had to adjust it. such a pain. you bend the tin foil just a little bit and all of a sudden all the holes you cant see dont line up anymore. and if you leave off one screw, it rattles. i almost left it off, but decided to struggle with it and eventually got it back on both times.
