So I installed the IC this morning. I took it for a spin and I had a grin from ear to ear!!! My girlfriend said I looked crazy cause I kept grinning the whole ride. It pulls hard at high rpm! Sounds a bit different too. A good different. My car is an evil beast! Here are some Pics.

wow awsome sound clip??? can you do a how to on bumper removal please! I know that there is one for a gts but hte Ra is a lil diffrent.

 

I have circled all the clip and bolt locations to remove the front bumper. Once the plastic cover is removed from under the air intake there are five more bolts to remove that I do not have a picture of but it is obvious what ones they are. The last two pictures indicate where there are clips that are not visible but will release when you pull CAREFULLY! I don't know how to put picture straight into the posting and am not much for write-ups but this should show you where to find everything.

Are they your original Headlights? Or did you get EVO X ones? Awesome IC!!

 

They are just the HID the car came with.

How long did it take? Are you going to get the EVO X front grill cross bar with the air dams to increase cooling?

I would love to get that! Where can I get it? Is the cross bar a separate piece that can be changed or is there more to it? The install of the IC and both upper and lower pipe took me about 4 hours by myself. I'm sure it could be done faster if you were already familiar with what needed to be done.

 

I forgot to mention, after I finished the install when I first tried to start it, it did not start and sounded strange. I tried it a couple of times cranking about 5 seconds each time and nothing. I couldn't think of anything I could have done to cause this! I tried again cranking it for longer. It began to sputter and eventually started after about 20 seconds of cranking. It ran rough but then smoothed out and I have had not trouble since. Would this be related to some kind of vacuum system that I released the pressure to? I haven't heard anyone mention this problem after an IC install.
