is there any kind of flasher unit in those recent lancers? or is it all kind of computer controlled? I'm looking for a way to use LED bulbs for stop light (example) but without having to use a resistor for each bulb. (avoiding hyper-flash)

 

My entire Evo IX is converted to LED, as well as my 2004 Ranger. The ford uses the flasher type you are speaking of, while the Evo uses a current checking computer. I think you must use resistors especially since your car is newer than mine.
