just got done pretty much detailing my car, and was thinking about the debadge.

but i'm unsure on what to do; in your opinion or from your experience what should i do:

thats wierd. I was just coming on here to make a new thread because I just debadged my car and I recently put a boost gauge on... I am going to make a thread tn and add some pics. I love how it looks. Def looks wierd at first but it grew on me big time.

 

Oh and BTW I took everyhting off except the Ralliart in the bottom right corner. I'm probably going to move it to the left side because it looks bare over there since the trunk button is on the right side.

 

I would leave the word lancer and take everything else off.

but before you do that mod it out.

 

Dont remove anything and stop following trends set by 17 year old wanna-bes. In my opinion this trend started as a way for people to hide a car that they weren't proud of. The Ralliart is awesome, be proud of it and show it off to everyone.

The only thing worse is removing all of the badges and then putting Evo ones on.

But this is all my personal opinion, in the end do what you want!

 

agreed, but i dont think its a trend at all

ive removed the mitsubishi and lancer wording because it looks cleaner. IMO theres too much writing on the back, it looks a lot better without the badges and it still has the small RA logo to show off

just fyi i love showing off my car. i don't like people confusing my car with a base lancer is all, and i wouldn't think of putting an evo badge, i think it's tacky pretending to be something your not. if anything i would get a cleaner ralliart machined badge to put on there.

Oh nice, most people agree the Lancer & Mitsu logo should go, thus leaving the RA logo!... that'd look nice IMO

 

On my car I just took off the Mitsubishi text and left the rest because I didn't want everyone thinking I was pretending to be an Evo. In your case, I would take off the words Mitsubishi and lancer, and either leave the Ralliart logo or like someone else suggested, get a JDM Ralliart logo and put it on the left side where it will be bare. There is some pretty sweet lookin Ralliart logos u can get. Another thing that would look sweet and different would be to get a RA logo like the ebay one but a decent size one and place it right under the emblem like the older lancers had. I've never seen that with the word RA. I think it would look good personally.
