Cheapest Insurance for '09 RA

Hey Everyone, what is the cheapest insurance for the '09 RA right now? I got a quote from The Hartford but they want like $240 a month (and that was the cheapest from all the others I researched on Insurance.com!). So I figured I would ask around for any advice.

How old are you? I'm 27 and get it through State Farm for (edit) exactly $95.96 a month. I probably get a few discounts through my family I would not normally get alone though.

I'm 27 too living in Connecticut, my combined insurance rate with Geico is $1000 per 6 months for both my Ralliart and my 03 Tiburon GT.

Okay it sounds like State Farm is pretty good. I'm in my twenties as well so that should work. I'll look into that, thanks everyone.

Haha, yeah that's what happened to me when I first got my '08 Lancer GTS. It was not in their system at the time so they put it down as a base '07 Lancer. That was a great year until they picked up on it the following year and my premium went up.

too many variables you can't rely on anyone's numbers no matter what.

That being said a safe bet is to just say you have a "Lancer" and not specify. I believe mine went in as a GTS.

You can't lie to the insurance company though. I know saying "Lancer" is not technically a lie but at the same time it is not the full truth. When something bad happens and you need the insurance company, then you might be in toruble. Either way, as Jake26 says, once you give them the VIN Number, everything pops up.
