I've been asking Yakima about fitment for their Q-Towers and Q-Clips, and their response to me thus far is that they have not had a chance to thoroughly test the fitment. Apparently, they don't like to release/authorize specific Q-Clips until they have done extensive safety testing. Bah.

This is also true for the 2008 Lancer (I thought they might have already tested fitment on that model).

Has anybody done some sleuthing on their own? I'm really curious if any of the Q-Clips currently offered will actually fit. Maybe someone who owns a RalliArt also works at REI.

 

If you search the forums, you will find that racks which fit the 2003-2008 Corolla will also fit the new Lancer/Evo. For the Thule racks, this is what i did, and it is a perfect fit.

 

Excellent, I've been waiting for a 'cross' for another application as Thule is dragging thier feet on this one.

I just put the Thule on the car yesterday with the recommended corola adapter.
Fits really good I think and looks awesome!

Hmmm... I'm wondering if the Thule fitment is any different than the Yakima... The Thule rack does look good on there, though.
