New member here! Fixed a Fast-Key/power accessory issue.

Hey all! I've been ghosting around here for a while and have decided to start an account, currently 3 days after picking up my 09 Rally Red.

My experience thus far has been pretty good. I love the car, it's got tons of room to tune away, and it goes pretty good, too.

Except, of course, for the intermittent operation of my Fast-Key. Sometimes it would work perfectly, while others, not even the unlock button the remote would work, and I would have to unlock and start the vehicle using the emergency key. When it wasn't working, a few other things also didn't work, such as the radio, power locks, etc. The clock would always be reset back to 1:00 when things would come back on.

The lack of power accessories pointed to a power problem. I took it in to get checked out today; turns out there was a fuse not installed properly:

HTML Code:
WE HAVE FOUND THE #30 FUSE WAS NOT PROPERLY
INSTALLED (SOFTSET) WE HAVE TESTED THE SYSTEM AND
FOUND THAT THERE WAS NO POWER GOING TO THE RADIO,
TRACED THE PROBLEM BACK TO THE #30 FUSE BEING LOOSE,
REMOVED AND REINSTALLED THE FUSE, TESTED FOR OPERATION
AND THE VEHILCE AT THIS TIME PERFORMS TO THE
MANUFACTURERS SPECIFICATIONS
Anyhow, problem solved. I forgot to ask exactly where that fuse is located, but an FYI in case anyone else runs into similar issues.

Nice RR RA, I just got mine a few weeks ago and I love it too. I'm glad they fixed your problem for you. The fuse boxes are located on the driver's side under that little door next to your left leg and there is another one under the hood in the black box to the right.
