what are the diifferences you guys saw with the 2010 ralliart vs the 2009 ralliart.. BESIDES ITS A HATCH. I know you guys had in on the lift. does it use same AWD system as 09 ralliart, brakes? rotors sizes? exhaust? just curious of how the performance companies are going to react to this, since the car could be shorter. WORKS your input please

it's the same as the 09 non hatch RA. In canada we got the sportback a few months ago (both reg and RA) and other than it weighing a bit more they are identical. It's all a matter of personal taste, some ppl like the sportback, others don't. Although it does have increased trunk space, so that's a plus.

The sportback is actually longer than the sedan variant.

A Ralliart is a waste of money for my needs and wants.

Noooooooooo!!!! don't judge yet!!

I thought an 08' STI was Fugly in pictures, and that thing is sexy as it gets when you see it in front of you!

I'm thinking it should be the same for the RA Sportback

I'm impatiently waiting for it to hit my local dealer so I can go check it out

Personally, I'm disappointed in the look of the hatch. Mitsubishi probably decided to do the lowest cost modification possible. It just doesn't fit at all with the rest of the car. Now if they would have done something similar to a 2010 Mazda 3 hatchback back-end, it would have turned out better visually I think....

In my mind, a hatchback should be sportier/faster than the sedan version.

1. Sharper lines on the backed to match the front.
2. Make the back half of the car look like a hatchback, not a sedan with the top of the trunk chopped off.
3. Actually chop off a lot more than the trunk to make the car weigh a good deal less than the sedan version.

We didn't get an opportunity to really analyze the car. It was a very quick visit. I wish I could tell you more.

no, it's not our car. It was a pre-production model. We do have a regular ralliart lancer though.
Does this mean you'll be doing some R&D?
