What'd you pay for your RA

So i went to a mitsubishi in MA today because there is a tax hike in a few days and i really want a RA. anyway the dealer quoted me for a BASE RA 26,338k after the 500 loyalty discount. I want hte 0% so i dont get that 1500 rebate. Is this a good price? also im getting 15k (minus my 5k payoff) for my g35x, it does have some exterior scratches and the leather on the drivers seat is kinda worn no rips.. anyway is this a good deal?

Any reason why you're going from the G35x to the RA?

I paid like 3 grand less with the 6-cd changer, door sills and a coupla tiny extras and I got a 10yr/100k bumper to bumper (concurrent with the 3yr B2B that MMNA offers).

Also, if you do a search, there's a thread around here somewhere with what people paid.

the 0% is definitively better than deal than $1500 off MSRP;

But 15k for an used G35x? what year?

Its a 2005 with 54000 miles on it, NADA says it goes for about 14-17k on trade value, they offered me 15k because of worn leather and a couple scuffs on the rims a scratches(maybe its because Infiniti used a cheap *** pain job) etc. and yea i figured 26.3k was too much for an RA BASE. might have to go shop around.

shop around, which dealer is it, i had a heck of a time getting them to work out a deal on my 06 mr back in 07 it was a joke, they where selling the same car brand new in TX at another Mits dealer for 5 thousand less then what they wanted in mass, and even after showing the dealer in MA this he still would not take 1 cent off the sticker. Ended up finding a 06 mr with only 3k on it for 27500 tell me that wasn't a deal

Mitsubishi's paint job isn't that much better...

That's too kind -- the paint job is terrible. The Ralliart (and presumably other Mitsubishis) are walking billboards for aftermarket paint jobs. I know my Ralliart's very unlikely to make it through 2011 without being repainted -- it already looks like crap underneath the driver's side handle (one big mass of scuffs, and no, my hands aren't like sandpaper), and there are too many other minor scuffs to count (that being said, the car still looks great if you're not standing right beside it looking for scuffs or chips).

It's a pity, really -- I would have paid good money for a premium paint job off the lot, but I guess retooling their assembly line for proper clearcoating would just be too much hassle.

I'm curious to what people are paying in the Midwest. I live in Indiana and am seriously considering buying a Ralliart in the next couple of months (getting married soon but don't know if I'll purchase before or after the October wedding). The local dealer told me selling price for a base RA at $25700 + ttl, which after reading what everyone is saying in the forums, seems like a high price? Just didn't know if anyone had any thoughts? Thanks!

Maybe you'll have to pay for shipping if they can arrange it for you (they're in FL), but these people have GOOOD deals right now, like 22, 23k for a Ralliart:

www.rchillmitsubishi.com

If you call, ask for Mike, good mate he'll help you out

I paid more than I would have for the Si or the Mazdaspeed or the WRX.
