Tried to use the almighty search but came up empty handed. I think Mine's makes a lip spoiler but in order to cover up all the holes, I would imagine, the only way to do it is let the body shop take care of it. Curious if the stock wing does anything as far as driving at higher speeds or everyday driving.

Not too sure but I believe it is functional maybe not as much as the big wing for the evo but I'm sure it works. As for a lip RRM has one that makes the car look nice and it comes with CF panels to cover the holes.

I saw that lip...but I would probably just take it to a body shop and have the cover up the holes...or paint the cf panels. Didn't like the look of it exposed on the trunk lid.

Anyone have a rough idea how much it would cost for a bodyshop to cover up the holes?

As far as I know, most of the labor cost is in prepping the trunk so if you could do that first (and do it right), then all the body shop has to do is paint which shouldn't be more than $100-$200. (guessing)

I understand I was thinkin the same thing too. Painting the panels would be a good idea cause it leave the option of putting the wing back on if u want to. I got the TB so it wouldn't be as noticeble. One thing u can do but might run u a little more is buying an ES trunk the same color as ur car W/ the FAST key button. Oemmitsubishiparts.com usually have discounts.

I found this alternative as well:

http://www.bulletproofautomotive.com...il.php?ID=6782
Do-Luck duck billed trunk (in either carbon fiber or FRP)

The carbon fiber one is $1200 but if the FRP one is any less...say $700-ish, I might consider this a good alternative. Compared to the RRM lip though ($200), that still looks like a clear winner.

The lines flow really well on the duckbill trunk. I kinda like it.

As for the FRP, I was quoted $795 from Patrick at bulletproof automotive. That's a pretty decent price. Too bad it doesn't come painted. I still have time to think about this before pick up the car...still shopping.
