ic pipes plus FMIC needs a tune...
I mean sure you can run without one..but you will not be optimizing anything.
Increasing the airflow w/o retuning isnt all that good ya know..

I know for a damn fact I wouldnt do that...but hey that's just me.

It's newer condition, a couple of bent fins. Yes it looked great. I still think the uicp is leaking.

Yeah, I/C shouldn't require a tune. It only affects the air after it has run through the MAF, so while the air might be denser, it is not sending more air than the computer knows to compensate for.

If you think your piping is leaking, maybe try the old water-on-tire trick to see if bubbles are forming?

You might want to build a leak detector just to double check and make sure everything is tight.

The main benefit you will receive untuned is a lower charge temp.

I never said you shouldnt tune, i said he doesnt need too, and isnt running a risk by not.

^ I'm in Boynton Beach and could take a look at it with you one of these days, PM me and we can meet up. I've had to fix more than a few boost leaks/piping issues in my day,

It's easy: Just pop the hood; drive the front end into a lake or pond; and check for bubbles. As long as the exhaust is out of the water, it's okay, right?
