Yeah, When I turn off my engine i hear it as well, but it seems to run down from my hood to the bottom of my car!! It sounds like sand or something, its a real loud crackling sound..anyone has that problem?

That is probably from the the exhaust system contracting as it cools
I have that sound too on my car
