I stapeled the mat to the center carboard, however i have dual 12' subs and its weighed down so much that the foam under the mat has sank -_-' .... So im in the process of shaving the foam to level out with the spair tire.

How did you fit 2x12" in that small trunk? I could barely fit 1x12"!

2x10 with custom flush-fit ported box/fascia. fans are functional only when ignition power is on to draw cool air back to the rear-mounted amp...plus, it doesnt move a bit and i can still fit my daughter's stroller in there when i need it:

plenty of room for 2- 12's if needed, i just listen to a lot of faster-paced music and prefer the quicker response of 10s to the deeper bass of 12s

unfortunately, as of now, speakers have to be unscrewed. after that though, everything slips apart, its pretty much all press-fit in there around the box and the speakers are like the keystone holding it all together. im working on a twist-style release like the factory door speakers so i dont have to keep a phillips screwdriver handy at all times..lol

Use the velcro with the sticky back. Stick a few strips of the hook side to the bottom of the trunk where the subwoofer sits. Then put the trunk mat over it, then the subwoofer in. The weight of the sub will hold the mat to the velcro, then the friction between the box carpet and the mat carpet will keep the box in place.

Not handy, but I'll try to remember to get a pic. Unfortunately I had a bit of an issue with my car today so it is sitting at a shop waiting for Saturday (I hope we can get it fixed then!).
