Question Mitsubishi Financing

So I got my letter in for my first payment through Mitsubishi financing. It wants me to give them a voided check to make automatic payments. I want to pay online...is there an option? If so what is the URL?

Motsubishi Motor Credit doesn't have a website. The only way to pay online would be through your bank's bill pay option.

Probably. They might charge extra to do that, though.

Yeah, they do charge extra to pay over the phone. I forgot about the option of sending them a voided check. I might start doing that now.

I don't want them taking out money whenever they feel like.

I have always had experiences where something is due like the 5th or 6th and they take it out on the 1st when I get paid on the 2nd.

Chances are they chose to set it up this way because it is cheaper for them, and that is how they offer better rates to you.

It is unfortunately true that often if you have a recurring payment they will try to take it out early, but it is up to the bank you use on how they handle that. Often it will stay as "pending" so you will be okay until the actual date, but if your bank takes it out of your available balance right away you can get into trouble with overdrafts. Probably just need to talk to the financing company and your bank to get the details worked out and you'll be fine. And if you get to choose the date, just make sure it's around 3-5 days at least after you get payed so you know the money will be there early. =)

I had that letter they gave a due date to apply for that or something. I started paying by mailing a check, but then I started forgetting and almost missing payments. So I went online to my bank and started paying from there. I can even automate the payments.

These questions would be better presented to Mitsubishi Financing.

Why not keep a higher balance in your account than what would be withdrawn your payment...?

for some people its easy to say not live paycheck to paycheck. but when you get laid off you really dont have any choice but to do that. i wouldnt want them automatically taking money out because i am always paying extra on my payment. its nice when you can manage to put down around 700-800 a month the only thing that sucks with that is less money for mods
