They're all the way behind the center console right up to the firewall. I didn't do it since it was warranty work but talked it over with my tech when they were doing it.

Since there was so much damage, are you sure a wiring harness didn't get unpluged or torn apart? I would guess they only use the ABS sensor but you never know, might be worth taking a look to see if something got unplugged.

Yea just really far back. I don't know if you can visibly tell if it's damaged or if you need to scan the computer.

I'm guessing you do too much launch and messed up the TC so it needs to be serviced?

just a reminder for you.when you put the new rims on you need to make sure the tpms sensors get put on the new rims and i think programmed.

they will some on here say I might not need to be programed since they are already synced with the car.

My understanding of how the TPMS sensors work is this: as long as the sensors are within transmitting distance every time the car is turned on, they will not need to be reprogrammed. I'm not sure what it means if only one of the sensors is not present (in your case). A tech explained this to me...I'm not sure how accurate it is, but it makes sense.

as long as t he tpms was not damaged when you had a blow out and it is still reusable you should not have to reprogram just transfer over

done this twice on an 08 es and 09 gts...
