From what I know, it's the same as the Evo X OEM one.

Its not a blow off valve, its a diverter valve. It doesnt depress the boost into the atmosphere but instead diverts it back into the intake as calculated air the ECU is expecting.

Additionally, i bought mine for 50$ of an Evo X owner. They are readily avaliable, but not really worth it until you are running well over the stock boost levels.

they both leak like gang busters and will annoy you (the driver) inside a week.

Look at the forge diverter, and the Go fast bitz diverter, both sound great, and are alot better quality.

Can anyone start posting some videos with diffrent bov sounds. Don't just post and say yes I have this bov it sounds awesome. Let's get this going; this will help the ralliart community on which bov are best for sound ( if you like the pssshhhh) or performance.

Anyone running the turbosmart dual port on their X with full recirculation back to intake...if so....how much louder is this than the oem bov (1-10 with 10 being extremely loud - although i would only expect that on venting to atmosphere...).

Also, would this still cause the car to run a little rich...any back fire problems? Again, just talking about full circulation....

Thanks

Sounds okay, but doesn't perform great, haha.

And i think that's the Turbosmart BOV? Or am i wrong and it's another brand?
Well i would stick with the stocker -metal IX BOV or go with the Synapse - Recirculating BOV.

update, the previous turbo smart BOV i had was in fact for evo 8 and 9 only, Turbo smart has since came out with a evo x and ralliart specific.. I have purchased that BOV and the car runs great no cell and no leaks. i am also venting into atmosphere,,, without any complications, like i said this one is designed specifically to do that on ralliart and evo x..

you will find the correct for ralliart and evo x bov here. Model specific..

Installed the Synapse BOV tonight. Works good so far, the sound isn't that pronounced but it should be 'fixed' with an SRI

Yes I did. The newer Synapse BOVs don't have a port C anymore, so only A and B are needed.
