The Rexpeed applies over the stock pod with 3m tape and is a plastic mold, available within a week i believe. Where as with AMI, you send in your A-pillar cover and they fabricate pods on it. Wait time per their website is 2 months. I think the price difference is just the manual labor cost of the AMI. Though it should fit better than a 'cover", the EvoX forum people are happy with fitment and lack of gaps.

I actually just ran across a summit racing dual pod mount that fits well in the center console. If you dont like the A-pillar (cop/rice attracting) location. http://buschurforums.com/forum/showt...-mounting-pics

BTW What did you do with the side airbag or does it fit on to it.

I mean you don't want it knocking you out in a accident.

Anyway...You guys with boost gauges, can you tell me or look under your hood and tell me where the t fitting is connected to your boost line. I am not sure if I should hook it up from turbo to solenoid?...or somewhere else. This would help alot just knowing where you cut in. Thanks

I have the AMI 52mm dual pod A-Pillar and I love it. I'll post pics when I get my AEM UEGO display gauge. Right now I have just a Glowshift Boost Gauge. I have a Rexpeed carbon fiber single gauge pod if anyone is interested!

Blue can you tell me where the t fitting is hooked into your boost line? If you can take a pic that would be awesome.

Thanks Orange! I have a standalone/electric. It seems like the t fitting that hooks up to the boost line is smaller than the actual boost line I plan to hook into. I dont want to cut and be left sol. If you get a chance throw a pic up. thanks again

I cut the line going into the stock bov and placed the T there. I'll snap a pic and post it tomorrow.

Appreciate it! It seems like the line from BOV is larger in width than the line coming from boost solenoid. Being that my t seems smaller, I might need to hook into there if thats even safe, or it could just look thicker because the walls are thicker. I dont know. Thanks again
