Stock intake scoop question

Hey guys,
I was toying around my engine bay tonight and I noticed the the snorkel/scoop where it connects to the airbox is not completely flush. Its not sticking out a ton, just the left side of the inlet is further out than the right. I tried repositioning it, but with the the screw holes for the snorkel it wasnt possible to line it up completely. I am wondering if this is cause for concern? If you guys get the chance, take a look at yours where it connects to the airbox and tell me if thats just normal. Appreciate it.

Also, I changed out the K&N with the stock filter to try and see if it was a fitment issue and it seems both the filters have a large gap towards the bottom right side. I have read Chi towns thread I know how to install, but its kinda wierd. Ok edit, turns out I was wrong, clips werent aligned properly. Sh*t, I was running my car like that for a while, yikes, all good now, except for the original post about the actual scoop being a little off.

You should be fine. Most of the ralliarts I have seen their the same way. Might just be a poor design flaw.
