amby, the springs will help. Our car goes around corners like john goodman walks around furniture at stock height.

Eibach pro kit isn't a bad spring at all.

I don't know the spring rate, but i hear good reviews on them and my buddy has them on his car as well. He says they handle amazing for being a spring and for the price he got them for.
As long you didn't get Tein - S Techs, you're good, hahaha!
Those will blown on you in no time if you track your car the way you do, lol.
Worst springs ever = Tein - S Techs.

Ride height and subsequent lowered center of gravity do not necessarily offset any handling affected by sub-optimal spring coefficients. You can't just slap on a set of LOWERING SPRINGS and expect them to do anything. Go-kart handling? I think not.

Good person to talk to about springs => RobiSpec

I don't know. I used to have a go-kart that handled like dog crap when I was a kid. It was one of those off-road go-karts. I rolled that thing a number of times. It was fun though.

The problem with springs is that they often lower too much without a suitable increase in spring rate. Lowering the car lowers the center of gravity but this also lowers the roll center. The roll center likely lowers more than the center of gravity. The greater the distance between the roll center and the center of gravity, the greater the body roll. You thus need springs that can overcome this increased desire to roll.
Saying that because someone thinks they'll help with handling, they'll help with handling isn't logical since subjectivity is a major factor in that situation.

Man... that was physics to last me this whole year...
but I get the point lowering isn't always going to give you the best handling.

Suspension stuff is pretty complicated, a lot of the time it might as well be in another language for me.
