how can i make my car unlock all 4 doors when i grab the handle , right nowit only does the drivers door i want it to unlock all 4 so people can get in without e pressing the unlock button

i know on my 2010 you can unlock all by touching the passenger front door. ya it sucks you cant program the drivers door to do the same.

 

Wait a minute!!! Yes u can.. I do this everyday. I got the baby in one arm a drink in the other and my car is locked. I walk up 2 it touch the driver handle all doors unlock.. It's in the manual.. And somewhere on this site.. Or even if you have the navi (not required though) you can do it through that (I think)

 

THAT IS HILARIOUS!!! But yes you can if you go to the mitsu website under FAQ it shows how to get it to unlock all doors. 1

 

Don't know why I looked this up at 4am but here you go:

1.press the lock button for 4-10 seconds
2.during the 4-10 seconds hit the unlock button. (you now are holding in 2 buttons)
3. Release the lock THEN unlock button (in that order) within the 10 seconds

 

sweet! Tried doing that and it works...but make sure your driver door is opened and headlights and dimmer switch to off. ignition in off position too.

What year is your car, I couldn't get this to work on my 09.

driver door open and unlocked, IGN off, lights off.

held the lock on my remote and counted to 4, then additionally pressed and held the unlock for 2 seconds. released lock then unlock right after it all within 10 seconds and nothing.

The light on the remote flashes the whole time, is there supposed to be a confirmation or something?

 

I just installed a MMCS Navigation system and it had setting in there to tune those locks.
I now can open all 4 doors with the drivers door handle. I never figured out without the navi though...I bet that you can go to Mitsubishi and have then change the setting.

Kieffer - mine is an 09. For the exact instructions go in your manual.. Page 3-48. There is a confirmation for it 2.. Same page ^^^ . ( if you don't have a manual let me know) I'd go test it out but my girl gots the car til 10pm. Let me know if u still can't get it.. I'll try to write up anything I find that isn't already posted.. Maybe try for 6 seconds instead of 4.


I got the navi after I did it this way. Seeing as you just hit a button to change them back and forth is much easier

PLEASE explain what's wrong with the OPs post?!? He(or she) may have just got there RA. wanted to unlock all there doors at once. Didn't know how so came looking for the answer. They joined our community and made a very legit post. And then YOU gotta come along and bash there post??? I'm sorry god put you on this earth so you could know everything about the RA GTS EVO and Mitsubishi all together. (which I now know is impossible cause YOU Were wrong) it's people like you that **** me off. I don't come on this forum half as much as I used to just cause every thread turns into a pissing match because of comments like yours!
