It's worth it, IMO. I'm 5'10" ~190, and the seats are borderline snug on me. Only complaint I personally have with the seats is they're a pain in the *** if I leave my wallet in my back pocket.

Nearly all my friends are larger (i.e. wider) than I am, and have stated the seat is damn near too narrow for them to sit in... women with wide hips especially complain cause their butt doesn't fit between the lower seat bolsters...

Oh yeah, be careful the first time you sit in the car... it might make you go cross eyed in pain, if you don't do it right...

The Recaro seats are well worth it. They feel great, its like getting a hug everytime you get in your car lol. They not only feel good but they look great. The HIDs are worth it too. Might as well get what you want the first time. For me I went with the RA over the EVO because it has everything I wanted and I can just put a little cash into the power aspect and be right up there. You won't be disappointed, nothing like turbo and AWD. Get something different.

Just stick with women from where the car was built and you'll be fine

I have owned my Ra for 5000 kms and I can say that never will I go back. The car is just awesome a real bang for your buck and for a little extra $$ you get to beat the pricey evo x

if you are going to get an si, you should wait til the new one is released next year for the 2012 model year.

2013 model year will be great, probably when I trade her in. Golf R/GTI, possible return of Alfa Romeo, possible new mr2/supra, Evo XI, etc...

I've been there, and have seen first hand that they too have ... larger women in their midst...

As I read through previous comments, here's why I bought the RA.
I'm looking for a AWD car why RWD or FWD? AWD rock ***! (Try gassing on turns with the SI and with the RA, you'll see what I mean after done that)
The look of the RA is mean as hell with the vented EVO hood compared to the civic looking SI.
(I still got checked out by other high class car owners Mers, BMW)
Available on TARMAC, GRAVEL, SNOW to control how the % of the AWD you want. (Ask the dealer ship for more information)
TURBO! yeah, turbo I always wanted an affordable car with turbo.
Last but not least, PADDLE SHIFTERS, as most expensive sports cars have them, the RA has it too!

The Si is a Civic, just like the Type-R is a Integra.

The ACD controls lockup. The torque split is 50/50 always.

Anyways, Have you thought about older Evos? or even... a 3000GT or a 2nd Gen Eclipse GSX?

The Ralliart is a good car. Though like someone else said, make sure you don't regret your decision.

Also I have to say the stock seats-non Recaro-in the Ralliart suck. I have a 30" waist and I slide in the seat.

HAHA! Well...maybe it could have the same effect as the women who bind their feet in certain countries to keep them small. People lets make sure to give our woman a ride in the car daily in an effort to keep expansion within the confines of the Recaro form-factor!

One of my previous cars literally had a maximum passenger weight capacity of 400lbs. large people had major issues getting in and out of it... it was a good deterrent... :P

I think he meant the Si looks to much like a basic Civic, much the same way an MS3 looks almost identical to a regular Mazda3

I'm going to have to agree with you on all that. The RA looks way more intimidating then an SI.

Btw I took a test drive. And the car made my 03 civic feel like a Model T. It was awesome. I don't even want to touch a car without turbo anymore. Lucky for me the car had recaro seats as well. They were comfortable and I didn't have a problem with them.

I've driven both cars and for my personal opinion I would get the Ralliart, it's just an all around better car for all seasons and you can tune the s%$# out of it!! Best bang for your buck.
