should i get it 09 ra

Alright guys I have a big question for you all. There is a 2009 ralliart for sale. Dealer wants 21500 it has 3100 miles and they say its manager driven miles but I test drove the car around a 9 months ago. And I know for sure that the car has been cold start drive the hell out of it test drive style.

Currently I drive a 2010 gts and am going crazy wanting a awd turbo mitsu. So I would ask for 15k for my car I owe 16k so 1k under, I would probably tell them I want it for 21k with 10k miles added to the warranty.

Is that legit or should I push it and see what they can do for me?

The only reason I got the GTS in the first place is I had no credit so I could only get financed for so much. but my payment is 370 Ive never missed a payment and have always dropped 400 every month.

Im going to try and make it to the dealership tomorrow so any ideas, comments, questions would be awesome.

Is it worth it or should I wait longer till I owe less or equal to what the car is worth?

It is worth it, with your gts payed off you have your credit so you will be able to get any one you want. Try to sell you gts privately that's the best way. It will take longer but you will have no debts and your credit will be very good. Patience pays off my friend!

I was in your situation a few months back and honestly if you can wait and save up some more cash for a gsr then you would make a good decision. I was going to get a gsr but the reason I couldnt is because I have a son and a wife and she can't drive stick even if her life depended on it so I went with the RA. You probably don't have a son so then just save up a few more thousand and go all out with the gsr

I love the RA and it was in my price range. I could of sprung for the GSR but I enjoy the cheaper monthly payment. If you won't be strapped for cash get the GSR if not that is a great price on the RA.

21,500 is a pretty good deal. Is 21,500 the asking price of the dealer? or have you negotiated at all? the car buying game is always fun Try to get em down a grand (although 21,500 is good with that mileage). And try to get more out of your trade...if they wont offer you what you want for your GTS...sell it privately. its a gamble because someone else might pick up the RA...but more may become available later on...its up to you if you want it NOW or not.

had an '08 GTS, traded up to a '10 RA Sportback, and definitely NOT regretting the move either
