Driver side floor sunken in on right side?

Hey all,

Been a member for some time now, however really just been an observer, reading up on a lot of your guy's posts up until now. For my first post, I thought I'd share that I just bought a new 2010 OB Ralliart two weeks ago, and I'm absolutely having a blast with it!! Being in Canada, I managed to luck out and get the last OB with the Recaros/HIDs in Western Canada!

Anyway, as much as I love the car, I am looking for an opinion. I noticed on the driver side floor that the right side (pedal side, immediately left of the center console) seems to be sunken in a little. More specifically, it seems to feel like there's barely anything under the carpet to support the area, whereas the left side (immediately to the right of the trunk/gas cap release) feels pretty supported under the carpet. Does anyone else have this "issue" with their Ralliarts or can someone confirm if this is normal? The passenger side floor on my vehicle appears to be level throughout.

I have tried searching the forums for any other discussion but have only found maybe the opposite, where someone inquired about a bump on their floor. Unfortunately I do not have pictures right now, but I do hope to have some soon when I can get some good lighting. In the meantime, any opinions would be great if my description of the issue can be interpreted!!

Thanks!

I know what you are saying, gPod. It's just how the car was designed.

Congrats on the new RA, you made a wise choice
Last year I think I also got the last 2009 OB in Western Canada too!
Sorry though, I haven't noticed the sunken issue.
