I'm thinking the money could be better spent on wheels & tires or suspension, unless you hardcore into drifting, in which case a RWD would be better.

I was always under the impression that the awd RA had the same drive train (ACD and rear diff) as the EVO IX.

idk i disagree..have you ever watched the top gear episode where the evo ix kept up with the lambo..read the attached thread..because instead of tuning our suspension for our crappy rear diff you would tune it to a much better diff in turn giving an even better suspension set up

I was always under the impression that the awd RA had the same drive train (ACD and rear diff) as the EVO IX.
it does..thats why i think this diff would work with our car

I disagree, the stock Ralliart is a nose heavy pig in the corners and you can spend thousand in new suspension, sway bars, wheels and tire only to spend 4-500 on a rear diff for an increase in oversteer.

Im bias though i've been in an old GC Subaru with a 2-way and it is lots of fun and still very streetable.

My only concern is how the TCU/ECU would cope with a locker in there.

as long as the asc or w\e our traction control is off i dont think they would interfere...i really want to try this out but im broke sooo
