Cobb 91 Stock Tune worth the $600?

So I came upon some money and I was wondering is the Cobb tune for 91 octane for stock vehicles worth the $600? Is the power difference that noticeable?

I've got the cob access port tuner (I'm assuming thats what you are talking about)
, but I use stage 1 93. To be honest there is a very noticeable difference in boost and power through the RPM band. I have not tried stage 1 91 octane but I would assume that it will make a difference enough to put a bigger smile on your face. As far as the price goes, it is a bit pricey but think of what you can do with the device. You are not just paying for the tune you are paying for the ability to switch tunes on the fly and download more or make your own custom tune. Also some pretty cool live monitor stuff as well. Overall I didn't mind paying the 600 for all those great features.

If you do not wish to go the GST free map and T-cable

From Cobbs site (I am using their figures) stage 1 91 will give you a 18 hp increase. That’s $33.33 per horse power.

Cobb is good value IMO not many mods can (truly) give that power per penny.

Notice the Dyno graph at cobb and you will see - a flatter torque curve
and no dip at 3300 RPM in torque and HP

You can go to stage 1 93 if you happen to go to an area with 93 or 94 octane
and flash in literally 1 minute. (Power is like crack so watch out you will hate going back)

If you go to a Cobb tuner you can store your custom tune.

I like my Cobb AP and I am currently running stage 2 93 and I am happy with the current power.(For Now) Lol

My Mods
-UR Turbo back w/high flow cat
-UR UICP

-Cobb AP Stage 2 93

Next Mods
- Whiteline rear sway bar

- New Wheels and Performance Tires

i'm running the stage 1 93 oct map and its a noticeable difference, there isn't much for performance maps yet aside from stage 2 if you have a DP/HFC...

and you can get the race tuner program to self tune if you know what your doing.. or i assume could have a tuner use to tune your car if they're not a cobb protuner

the ability to swap back and forth between maps is good for me espeically cause not everyone carries 93/94 oct where i am plus when i take it back to the dealer i always unistall the AP so they never know the ecu has been modified

going with a tactix and GST map will probably yeild just as good of gains just comes down to personal preference really,

i like always having my AP handy just incase i need to reflash it for what ever reason as opossed to having to have my computer handy
