Cobb accesspoint users!

Hey guys, I am trying to turn down the boost and get some fuel economy out of my ralliart. Would you suggest I go buy a boost controller like the AEM Tru Boost application and turn down the boost or get something like the Cobb accesspoint and load a economy map onto it? How can I change the basemap? dont i need a UEGO wideband sensor to calibrate the data and change the maps? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

My stock stage 1 flash with the Cobb actually improved my gas mileage.

Why would you de-boost this car? Drive slower if you want better fuel mileage

Its actually for a hydrogen experiment (HHO gas) I cant run boost and hydrogen at the same time - that would equal a pipebomb in my intake. So based on the answers I am assuming the only way to deboost this car is a boost controller (boost pill removed)???

...then I would try your experiment on a N/A engine...I get your Doc Brown mentality (if your gonna do it, do it with style), but it's not as easy as just taking the boost down to zero. You would have to completely re-map the ecu to handle the kind of modifications that you are talking about, and if you were that capable, you wouldn't be asking this question. I'm not saying your goal is unachievable (I don't really know what that is btw), but I don't understand the logic of complicating the process by starting with a boosted engine that you have to convert to N/A as step 1.
