EvoScan-Select ECU & Serial to USB???
Hey All,
So here's my scenario; 2010 Mitsu RASB, GST Upgraded Boost Pill V2 map, ProSport WB, EvoScan 2.8
So I just got my FTDI Serial(RS232) to USB connection, soldered the ground to Pin 5, Wideband Analog Output to Pin 2
Want to get this all set-up to start logging, before I install my Go Fast Bits EBC.
Questions:
1) Select ECU, s/b Mode23 USA RA EVOX, Mode23 USA EVOX, or Mode23 2010 USA RA EVOX???
Based on title alone I would think Mode23 2010 USA RA EVOX; but I'm doubtful because of the lack of fields for logging. There are about 10x's as many fields for the other 2; and if I had to pick one of them it would be the Mode23 USA RA EVOX.
So do I go with the pre-configured non-2010 RA; or do I go 2010 RA and "Edit Data Items\Add New Item" and try to figure out how that works??
2) Also, I popped in the disk that came with the Serial to USB, and it has a bunch of folders. Do I need open some of these files into EvoScan 2.8 in order to log AFR, or does it know to look in this folder for definitions, etc.
Please help, and happy holidays
