Question Where are the Fuel Relay and MFI Located?

So I just got in my Blue Fuel Relay and MFI and I was going to install them because of my start issues. Can someone take a pic and circle there Fuel Relay and MFI?

I was told the DRL's is where the fuel relay goes and the big relay is the MFI

So I installed it today and just wanted to make sure because the fuse guide doesn't really line up with what it actually looks like.

Can someone confirm I did it correctly? I started the car fine after installing them. If I did it wrong can someone tell me which ones to switch...possibly circle the ones that I need to if its wrong.

It is the blue relay and big grey MFI relay

It doesn't look right to me. I think those 3 green relays should also be replaced with blue. Can you circle the ones you replaced?? You should have replaced THREE green fuel relays with THREE blue fuel relays. Didn't you look at the link to the installation diagram I gave you??? It clearly highlights that THREE blue fuel relays are needed along with ONE grey MFI relay. I'm not sure what you did, but it sounds like you only bought ONE blue fuel relay and that's not gonna accomplish what you're trying to do here.....

I was just changing the fuel relay and the MFI to fix starting issues. I just want to make sure I changed the correct ones. In a previous post someone said the DRL relay is the same as the fuel relay. I plugged the blue in the DRL spot. I just want to make sure it is correct. I think I might need to swap the grey one to the other spot in the lower right...

No, you screwed it up. If you're ONLY replacing the STARTER relay, then it's the GREEN one directly below the BLUE one in the picture you took. Look at the link to the diagram I gave you again, and it lines up perfectly. It's the A-24X on the Lancer Turbo diagram, and the A-28X on the Evo X diagram.(It looks like you changed the A-56X relay on the Lancer Turbo diagram which corresponds to the A-27X relay on the Evo X diagram)

Honestly, if I were you, I'd at least get one more BLUE relay, because the one that you already changed really should be done as well since it's the Fuel Pump Relay. The relay that I was referring to in my last post is called the Starter Relay, but it seems to me that both of them would have a part to play in resolving your hard starting issues.

I was told I just needed to change the fuel pump relay and not the starter relay. So the one I changed is correct then? Also what about the MFI is it the proper one I changed or is it the other box in the bottom right...looks that way on the picture.

So I know I did the fuel pump one correctly based off another thread but I am not sure about the grey MFI one.

According the diagram in the link I provided, the MFI receptacle is shown as the one at the furthest bottom right part of the relay box, so it looks correct to me. I'm no expert on this, but if I was having "Starting Issues", it would make sense to me to change not only the Fuel Pump Relay but also the "Starter Relay". That's just me using common sense/an educated guess, but I could be wrong....

I will swap the grey one now and order 2 more blue relays for the the other 2 green ones underneath the blue. I am assuming the blue one I ordered will fit them both...correct?

Order 3 more blue ones and replace ALL 3 of the green relays in your picture just like the Mitsubishi recall tells you to do in the link I provided. That way you've covered all your bases.

Sooo, did you order 3 more then, or only 2? Hopefully you're not leaving 1 leftover green relay....that would be silly.
