Hey guys! Income Tax season is here and im gettin mine back this week..I have a bone stock 2010 RA and I wanna know what my first mod should be. I go to the drags all the time during the spring/summer and the best time i got last year was 14.01 at 98mph. I want to break into the 13's at least and am thinking about going with the access port and boost pill. Just wondering if I should do that first or what?? any link/info you guys may have or advice would be great!!! Thanks!!

If you already have a laptop, then all you need is a $20 boost pill and a $150-$200 Tactrix cable, and I'll be a nice guy and throw in a link to a FREE tune for you as well that you can use with your new boost pill and Tactrix cable. Here you go:

Boost Pill + Tactrix Cable + GST Tune + K&N Drop In + Exhaust
$20+$180+Free+$45+$700=$945

You will be in the 13's if not low 13's depending on your elevation.

 

Boost pill and a tune It should give you around 50 more Hp. If money permits do a intake and take out the cat u will feel the difference.

 

If your going intake you'll need the small battery kit from ams or to just relocate ur battery.

 

Not in all cases their are intake that u can get without relocation or need of a small race battery.

 

Stock intake on the RA is actually superior to stock on an EVO. Good to about 400whp without need for an upgrade.

Things you can get away with under 1k efficiently:

GST Basemap (free)
K&N drop-in ($50-60)
Boost pill ($20)
Tactrix cable ($180)
Evoscan software ($25)
AMS metal BOV ($180)
UICP ($100-300)
Used Evo X IC ($200-300)

These are all compatible with Bryan's GST basemap. I've done these mods and after many scans, car runs like a champ with no issues. You "can" change the LICP if you want but in reality, it's not as bad a piece as the stock UICP (woven fabric BS). When you start adding things like an exhaust, you need to look into a custom tune.
