boost controller?
boost controller?
Ive been searching and reading about what people thought about boost controllers here.
I recently ordered a pod, a AEM digital boost gauge and controller and A/F ratio gauges for my car.
I have been reading that if you install a boost controller, you need to get the car tuned right away before adjusting the actual boost..
What do you guys suggest?
If I just kept the boost controller in there and just used it as a gauge to read the boost, would it matter?

Most people agree that the factory ecu is capable of controlling boost very well. The substitution of a 3-port solenoid, in place of the factory one, will help reduce taper and give you even more control.
With this option, you do indeed need a tune immediately.
