Tire problem
Wear on one shoulder of the tires is definitely an alignment issue specifically, excessive camber or too much negative camber.
Just to add up, if there's any freeplay on your tires, you would hear noises and even bump steer. Otherwise, get your alignment fixed asap...

Got a lifetime alignment/balance/rotation for firestone and it's paid me back in spades. I was getting my RA aligned at every oil change even when it felt unecessary.
I ended up getting new tires (wider + taller) firehawks and we'll see if that helped... I had the same early treadwear problem as you when I just bought the car.
