i personally perfer ramps, once ur dropped ull need better ramps but if your not doing any wheel/ suspension work the ramps work great since it only takes a minute to drive up and they are fairly high

I would recommend to go for two sets of 3 tons stands; they have a larger base thus they provide a better stability. Here in Canada, it's a 10$ difference between the 2 tons and the 3 tons... I think our safety is worth the extra spending.
As for the jack, this type of small jack usually don't last very long... At Princess Auto in Canada you can get a decent floor jack for about 100$ when in special... It will lift higher, it will be stronger and more stable... Again, safety first... Especially if you have to use it on a surface that is not leveled (slight inclination) than the better floor jack should still allows you to lift of side of the car.

I have had one for about 4 years and it is very Durable. They also have pretty much eveything else you will need as far as tools go. You should have a store releatively close to you.
