2011 Ralliart Changes?

Hey, Im just wondering whats new in the 2011 Ralliarts? It seems like the recaro package is gone and Mitsu's website is garbage....sn: the ralliart should have its own section on the website and not be coupled with the regular lancer cause the stats get all mixed up!

the website is accurate

2011 US Spec Ralliarts don't have the Recaro Package anymore. Only major options are Touring and Navigation

as for changes, FUSE was added standard for 2011 GTS/RA/Evo

Ok cool, so then does the Ralliart have sportier stock seats now or are they just regular ol' lancer seats?

2011 USDM also has sunroof option. 09-10 did not have that option.

If you opt for the touring package, the seats are leather and upgraded. Certainly not Recaro's but a nice upgrade.

well.....idk as much as i would love to get a ralliart, theres just something about them. The wrx gets nice seats, a beefy body, and decent looking rims. I feel like the only thing the Ralliart brings is a nice transmission. Maybe mitsu is just attempting to focus on an older crowd by refining the aggressiveness that the WRX definately has. I hope im wrong, but i wanna test drive both of them. I already drove a new GTI (different league, I know) but i love it! Its nice, quick, economical and in the same price range

Mitsu was actually pretty smart in how they designed the RA against the WRX

the biggest problems with the WRX compared to the STi are the weak 5-speed and mediocre AWD drivetrain

In comparision, those two components are much higher-level parts, but all the bolt-ons are cheaper (wheels, tires, intercooler, bov, turbo)

it's obviously much cheaper to upgrade the bolt-ons

just my 2cents. I think the RA is a much more capable platform of the WRX. WRX is just faster out of the box, but these cars aren't meant to be kept stock

The only problem with purchasing an RA with the touring option is finding one! I have a sportback on order (7/20 is the scheduled delivery date).

Touring gives you:
-Leather Seats (front are heated)
-Moonroof
-HID's
-Rain sensing Wipers
-RF 700w Sound System

If this is a daily driver and you commute in traffic the SST is the way to go. If not , the WRX and GTI are great cars to and you don't have to wait 3 months.

Also here's a recent review on the 2011 with the touring option.

Ok I have a 2011 Ralliart and I didn't know they didn't come with recaros any more!! I thought they where just out when I went. Any ways it's cheaper if you get them from a member on here it's much cheaper, I got mine for $900. The only other differences beside the recaros is that now aside from Bluetooth you also have fuse, so you can listen to your iPhone music via Bluetooth and download your phonebook to the car instead of having to add contacts one by one, and they added a USB port

funny thing is. i went in to the dealer and told them i wanted the sportback 2011 RA. i told them fully loaded, touring package, leather seats, etc... the guy said ok we'll take care of it. about a week later, they said they got it. so i was like ok VERY NICE!. i walked in and it was the sedan. i looked at it, walked around it and fell in love. now that i notice it , i didn't really like the sportback'y look anyways. way to go mitsu. your **** up, saved me lol. but yeah it was weird i had my car in about a week. i think the guy said there was only like 2 left in the country or something like that. but as the car came in waiting for me to pick it up, the dealer told me some guy walked in and said i got so and so ammount of cash i want that car now. lol. too bad, it was already purchased. but yeah, it was really fast for me.
