Question Prestige Plan?

I was going over my contract from when I bought my car 1 1/2 years ago. I am going to cancel my extended warranty which is 2k. I also noticed I have a prestige plan which is for the paint and crap that is almost 2k also. Anyone know if I can cancel the prestige plan?

Here are some pics of the "optional" section of the contract.

Only thing I could think it would be, but $2k is a bit much:

So is it something they already put on the car? If not I wonder if I can get my money back for it. As far as I know they didn't put anything on the car.

IDK but it looked like it was some kind of super tint for the windows. I had a "special" package on my car when I bought it but wasn't anywhere near $2k. My package included nitrogen filled tires and a sticker that proclaimed the nitrogen goodness.

So I called the idiots and Anaheim Mitsubishi and they said I can't cancel the prestige plan. I will never buy a car from them again.

well if u modify the car alot, the warranty kinda goes out the window according on what you do, so if this is ur plan u mine as well. But if your just going a few bolt ons then i would say to keep it incase u want to resell

Prestige Plan, sounds like..... a very special kind of butt raping. The kinds that more picky, choosy, more....prestigious. Marketing, the crap they come up with. You need to look at the fine print of the "prestige plan" pamphlet/paperwork. There will be a clause about early termination. Of course the dealership will say, its non-refundable. They don't want to hand out money that worked hard to scam you out of...

Yup, typical scam. Live and learn. Watch for it next time when signing papers.

How did you pay $2,000 for something and not even ask what it is?

Based on what we sell at our dealership, you could buy every protection plan we have (paint, interior, anti-corrosion and road hazard) and it wouldn't add up even close to $2000 (and things are more expensive in Canada too). I have no idea what this "Prestige Plan" is. I'd get rid of that or at least find out what it is. Who knows, maybe they coated your windows in a thin film of 24kt gold like an astronaut's helmet visor No UV for you!!
