Tactrix cable

I know with the AP you can data log but what about the tactrix cable? Is there a thread comparing the two? The tactrix vs Cobb AP? That would be a good sticky if someone can find some info and put a good comparison down for everyone.

My friend just got the Cobb AP and Im loving the data logging features and stuff but I know that the tactrix can also data log but I was wondering to what kind of extreme and stuff.

Also, if standalone logging is too complex, you can use a laptop and EvoScan to log...

I have a WindowsXP tablet that i use for extra gauges while connected to my Tactrix...

Yeah I want to get the cable and hook it up to my laptop. Would tactrix be the only cable available or any obdII cable to usb work?

It is that cable. It is the job of the Tactrix OP2.0 to "convert" from OBD-II to USB.

EvoScan/EcuFlash/whatever talks to OP2.0, which talks to the ECU.

The "standalone logging" thing is the OP2.0 Tactrix box's ability to log all on its lonesome... if you stick a micro-SD card into it.
