Battery Question

So my Ralliart sat for a week (have a rental while 370Z is getting a new short block … don’t ask). Then after “moving it” in and out of the garage yesterday without issue, the battery was dead this morning. Attempted to charge with a charger I’ve used for several years but no luck. Finally jumped it and got it started.

I decided I needed to give it a chance to charge so I took it to Autozone and had them test the battery. It showed “bad battery” on the test. Assuming I can get my dealership to get the same results on the battery, how will they replace it? Will the pro-rate it (had it for 18 months) or will they just give me a new battery.

I’d like to know in advance as I have a feeling that a pro-rated deal from the dealership will still be more than just getting a new one on my own.

TIA

"Most" dealerships offer Term coverage for batteries, with pro-rating after the Term expires. But then again, we are talking about Mitsu dealerships.....

You should have free replacement for 24 months.
