Went to the dealer today and they sent me to one of their computers (because they didn't have the customization brochure) to customize the Ralliart to the packages and accessories to add on.

I want to get the Touring package added on but I noticed it only comes with a Lip Spoiler. But in the accessories page of the Mitsubishi cars website also shows there's the regular wing spoiler that you can buy separately. Now question is, if I get the Touring Package and a Wing as a separate accessory do you think they will replace the Lip Spoiler from Tour package to that of the Wing Spoiler instead at the Factory?

Anyway because of other difficulties they had with trying to get my Special order in they had to send me home to come back next week again for them to have all the ordering sheets and documents prepared for me. Mind you I called them ahead of the time say about 9 hours before I event went there. And they had absolutely no Ralliarts or even a single GTS there. Just sayin'.

 

Accessories are installed by the dealer. If you order the touring pkg, it eill come with the lip and the dealer will charge you to mount the other spoiler.

 

Would the dealer already have the Wing or when I purchase it with the car will it get shipped to them as well, then they will put it on when car arrives? Just wondering.

 

I would strongly suspect that the dealership would not stock body parts on site and only order them when necessary. Having large amounts of storage space being used by large parts that are infrequently ordered just isn't good business sense...

 

You could just keep the lip on the trunk and trade with someone with a wing. A lot of ralliart owners don't like the wing and would trade in a heart beat. It might be cheaper that way too.

Im taking the route of buying the Wing vs trading it. Especially because the expensive part about trading is that I live in Hawaii =P
