DRL bulb change: me venting

Ok, I'm sure many of you have had to change a burnt out bulb in the headlight assemblies by now.

This car is by far has the worst accessible bulbs I've ever come across.
Join me my brethren and raise your cut up and scraped hand and join me while I give my headlight assemblies a middle finger salute. FU!!!!

okay i'm done now.

LOL. My GF laughs at me when I tell her all the cuts on my hand are from working on the car

Lollll ive changed those DRL bulbs like 6 times cause they keep dying, Recently another blew and I pulled the fuse. I give up on messing with them... put way to much effort into something that wont last.

DRL - Daytime Running Lamps?

Must be a Canada specific "feature"?

I just take the bumper off my rs. I don't think they were thinking about the light when they build them. I still love my evo tho

Yep, they're required by Canadian law. Pulling the bumper is the easiest option as far as not getting your hands sliced up.

I just changed mine to yellows along with the fogs this weekend. Had to get another person with smaller hands to turn those inner sockets. The fogs are 20x easier!

my 09 has them, so i assume its not a canada specific feature, but more of that the 2011 doesnt come with alot of features the earlier models came with.

My '10 has them as well. I was thinking of swapping in some LED bulbs...just to see what they look like, they are pretty cheap on Amazon, etc. but if it's this hard to change a bulb...maybe not! Cheers.

I did need to change a fog bulb and a rear taillight bulb, both of which I found were easy to do. I haven't tackled the headlights yet.

I've found that when I'm fixing or changing something on my car, I only do a really good job if my hands come out looking like they went through the mince cycle in my blender.

Why not invest in some workshop gloves? I have some and they saved my hands on numerous occasions
