Radar with Blendmount

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone has a radar detector with a Blendmount. For those of you who don't know what Blendmount is, here is a link to it.

http://www.blendmount.com/escort.html

I have a Beltronics V6 and was curious to see if anyone has a Blendmount that works with their Ralliart. My radar currently is low on my windsheild but I'm looking for a way to eliminate using the suction cups. They're getting old and I have replaced them, but with the cold windsheild they fall right off.

Or if anyone has a neat way they have their radar let me know. The suction cups are really getting to me. Haha

I use them on my truck and they are awesome. My only rant is that the radar is in plain view when you park your car at a mall, etc. So be carfeful.

My current placement of my radar is plain sight. Lol. I'm just looking for a better replacement for the suction cups. Plus, a radar that is mounted higher works better anyway. But that's good that the Blendmounts work. I always like to make sure something is good in value before purchasing something online.

I use the suction mounts that came with my Redline and have it sitting right above the rear view mirror on the right side. Cannot see it from outside the car.

I keep my valentine 1 to the left of the RVM, with the suction cups right below the dots. Seems to work 110% awesome.

But what does everyone do with their cable? That is also an issue. Cops in my town won't pull you over for having a radar, but they will pull you over if your cable is hanging everywhere.

I had my old one up there. I kinda propped it ontop of the rear view mirror and ran the cable above the sun visor then tucked it in the A-frame between the windsheild and the body of car. Is that what you did?

Yea I would put it up there Addikt, but on my '10 Ralliart the little black dots go much farther down on the windsheild. And the suction cups won't stick to it. I somehow got my old cobra to sit ontop of the rear view mirror, and had some velcro to hold it in place, but I felt the little black dots where obstructing the laser from the radar and not giving me accurate and far enough away detection.

I don't think they do. I just ordered the 12 foot long cable so I can tuck It into the cars "A" frame on the windsheild so I can then connect it to the Blendmount when I order it. But when I was on their website I didn't see anything about a remote display. But i also may be misunderstanding what you are saying. If you can describe more what a remote display is. Haha

How did you secure it to the rear view mirror?
