New Ra WW owner

Hey guys just wanted to get to know everyone and say hey again. Also it looks like I may be getting a 2011 Ra tomorrow. How do you guys like your Ra? any suggestions for first mods that NEED to be done or should be done. Is the Ra worth it also, this will be my first "car". And hope it's bite is as scary as it's growl.

My only major regret about this car was not getting the Sun & Sound package. I really miss having a sunroof and the aftermarket sub I have in the back takes up too much space for my liking. Car is a dream to drive and I don't know if I'll ever be able to have a car that doesn't accelerate like a bat out of hell after this car.

ya i feel ya man. my truck has a sunroof and a dope as sound system. I'm kinda sad that this ra does not have the sunroof or the touring package. cloth seats as well. I'm used to the leather in my truck. but what can i say who would say no to a free car ha.

I enjoyed the car stock for the first 2k....then i needed some noise, so i got catback first. now just awaiting a day i can take it to get tuned.

But it depends on what route you want to go for your car...performance or looks mainly

Mods are a personal thing. I'd drive the car for a while and get used to it, then mod it to improve the things you feel would help you enjoy it even more. It's all personal preference. Some people drop springs or coilovers in to improve the handling, some find the handling is fine. Others might improve the brakes. Maybe you'd like more power? Who knows. Determine what you think should improve, and then do your mods.

Don't go down the road that some do and just mod things because others say they should. They don't drive your car for you.

Well said Sudz There are some basic things that all Ralliarts/Evo's should do (fuel pump relay, ziptie lines, etc), but after that do some research in your personal preference.

for sure man i feel ya. have modded my truck so i know pretty much what needs to be changed and all that. i wish i could throw some black rims on my ra and exhaust possibly just a muffler, and ecu and intake...thats pretty much it. but we will see ill leave it stock for now..or until my dad lets me changed anything on the car.
