Soo... i put my aem wideband in finally and im curiois what afr's people get at idle, cruising, WOT as currenty mine is all over the place when i'm on the highway doing steady speed & rpm and when i'm at idle it bounces between 14.2 - 15.6 constantly

That's called closed loop operation, and it's normal. It's supposed to bounce back and forth between slightly rich and slightly lean.

At WOT, the ECU goes into open loop, and the O2 sensor is ignored and the ECU maps are used based on airflow, temp, load, etc, etc.

Why does the wideband need to be grounded when you hook the blue wire up to a serial-usb cable? It says ground pin #5, but i hooked mine up without grounding and it still works.
