DC Dual tip exhaust

Has anyone alter the exhaust so it doesn't rub onto the driveshaft? If you did did you take it to a exhaust shop to be altered? Looks like that will be my only option as the shop I got it from their distributor is giving them a hard time on a return even DCsports representative said they would fully refund the money.

Ok finally had the resonator cut out and put a straight 3" pipe in its place. The resonator is what was hitting the driveshaft. Hopefully this works.

I had the same issue, e-mailed DC Sports with photos of the contact point (resonator). They ignored my e-mails, extremely frustraiting. Eventually I brought it to an exhaust shop, they cut a junk out around the axle and rewelded it and gave it an extra inche or two around the driveshaft. Paid $235 to make it fit properply, I will never buy another DC Sports product again.

Although my dc dual exhaust tips stops from rubbing my driveshaft, I strongly recommend for future buyers to get this particular exhaust. You wont enjoy it when the exhaust starts to rub your driveshaft!

yeah, but it's oh so great when she does...

I originally thought about getting this cat back system, but went for the Magnaflow instead because of the fitment issues that started cropping up when I went to buy an exhaust.

Luckily my shop did that modification for me for free So no issues or complaints. P1llar that sucks that you had to pay out of pocket for your modification.

Mine has rusted right on the edge of the tips. Maybe because it couldn't stand the Canadian Winter! Other than that, I still love the sound that it makes!

Mine lasted a Winnipeg winter fine. I do like the sound, especially after adding a testpipe.
