Still learning new things about my RA

Yeah makes me feel like an ID10T to say but just figured out that you can also unlock car by pressing on door handle button. Just thought it was for locking only.. hahah... very cool

I have the 09 GTS with the fast key. Don't need to hit button, just grab the handle and it'll unlock as long as the key is near.

If you put your left hand in the driver side door and put your pointer finger as far right in the door handle you can feel the sensor in the corner and the doors will unlock. All ralliarts with fast key have this.

As long as they key is near the door, it will unlock. On my 2009 Ralliart I walk up to the door with the key in my pocket and pull on the handle twice and it unlocks by itself.

Not true. Only the 09s and maybe the 10s have the auto unlock handles. 10s or 11s and up have the button you have to hit.

My 2010 with fast key unlocks by just putting your hand in the handle.

VW with "fastkey" is the same way. It also locks if you hold your finger pressed against the handle.

Should have been clearer. It was an option in the earlier years. Like HIDs and Recaros. Now it isn't even an option.

Yes, it comes with the Fast Key option, which is still an option on the 2013 RA, at least in the USA.

Well the hand sensor inside the handle is a bit finicky in the wet. When raining and normal use it doesn't seem to be too much of a problem, but if you're washing your car with your keys in your pocket, i find that it triggers the auto-lock/unlock sensors repeatedly. For this reason, I typically unlock the doors then put the keys in the garage when washing my car.
