Do I need a Warning Canceler for HID headlights?

I have a 2011 Ralliart that I'm trying to purchase these headlights for and there is an option asking if I need a Warning Canceler. How do I know if I need this or not?

Those headlights actually came on my 2011 Ralliart. I don't have HID's though, just the housings. Wish I could help more. Good luck!

The warning canceler is for BMW and some other makes... You do not need it.

You will need a separate harness with relay if you have daytime running lights. The Jroxx harness worked well for me.

They look cool, but they throw off the off-road feel I'm going for haha. I'm gonna try and trade someone for some OEM style headlights. The only reason I have them is because they were on the car when I bought it. They are cool looking headlights though and they work really well, just not my style haha

Unfortunately no, they were installed at the dealer before I bought it. I'm pretty sure they are just plug and play though. I can't imagine that they would've had to splice any wiring for them. Then again I don't know. I might be able to look and see if I can find anything out

Problem I have with HID's is when the car is started and runs for more than like 2 mins and then I cut the lights on the HIDs won't come on. Now if I start the car and turn lights on at the same time they will come on. Has anyone bad this issue with aftermarket hid kits? I am using 9006 OPT7 5000k kit

^Did you have Daytime Running Lights (DRL) prior to installing the kit? Did you install a DRL-defeat relay harness?

hey guys I have a question if anyone can answer is I was thinking of getting new headlight for my 2005 dodge ram 3500 with the hid conversion kit (http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/yhst-1116174...2273_698246583) this is the link it says they get preinstalled at the factory so I was just wondering if I just take out my old ones and these new ones go right back and they will still have day time , low beams and high beams. let me know thank
