we never see snow in my part of Florida. But we do get heavy rain, and I would never dare drive my car through floods.

I had some Continental DWS all seasons on my RA and it handled AMAZINGLY this winter. I couldn't even imagine how awesome it would be if I got dedicated snow tires such as the Blizzaks.

Get some real snow tires and report back.
You want even more grip? Blizzak FTMFW!

I have the same tires. Even in terrible weather where most people can't even get going from a stop I can just cruise along. Unfortunately where I live the weather is so random snow tires aren't really useful unless you don't mind running them the entire winter season, but they'll wear down faster that way.

Indiana RA owner here. We got 12 inches in a single day. My driveway is steep and facing away from the sun so it takes forever to melt. Usually freezes for a week beforehand. I can ALWAYS get up it. : )

Question: Does anyone else experience snow accumulating in the rear tire wells...so much that it starts to vibrate the car until u knock it off with a broom handle? Also, have any of you ever tried to fill up on gas and the gas lid is frozen shut so the release button does no good? lol good times

I had the same reaction, man! I used to have a gts, it wasn't bad but man the RA's are beastly! You can literally take advantage of the snow. I was drifting all over the place! haha

I put my Blizzaks on right before the first snowfall and keep them on until March-April. Been doing so for three years now with still plenty of tread.

Still have falken ziex on my volks thru all the snow we had up in nj last few weeks. My blizzaks are sitting in the basement but just been too lazy and cold to throw em on. Didn't have issues with sliding out anywhere but on the blizzaks last year it did beyond amazing. I don't honestly mind the ride on the summer tires thru the snow, just can't boost as often as I'd like to. I have a bunch of pics and video on my instagram, quickflips

The vibration is from the snow/ice building up in the wheels, not the wells and throwing your balance off.

Maybe I can convince my brother to get a good video of me drifting. It has snowed a good amount again. This pic was from that crazy polar storm that hit everyone

I have a set of 205/60 16 inch studded Nokian hakka 7's and this car is rediculous in deep snow and ice. Compared to the old Ralliart this thing is so much faster in the snow and braking on ice is incredible.
